Sensory-Friendly Day at the Comcast Center Campus
Also happening during Disability Pride Philadelphia on the Parkway, our Lead Community Sponsor, Comcast NBCUniversal, hosts the second annual Sensory-Friendly Day at the Comcast Center Campus. Guests can experience a sensory-friendly show at The Universal Sphere, learn about Comcast’s latest accessible technology, and enjoy complimentary snacks from Popcorn for the People, a local business that employs a neurodiverse workforce. In partnership with Comcast Spectacor, a designated Sensory Zone will provide a quiet space for individuals who would like to take a break from the day’s programming. Representatives from partner organizations Disability Pride PA, The Arc of Philadelphia, and Universal Destinations & Experiences will be on-site to speak with guests and host interactive demonstrations. https://comcastcentercampus.com/sensory-friendly-day/

Stop by and check out the National Caravan for Disability freedom and Justice! Great photo ops, t-shirts and hats for sale! Learn about Pennsylvania Disability History on the monitors and find out to support the LaTonya Reeves Act. Support the caravan’s message!
