Join us as we celebrate with the new “Thrive CIL” Center for Independent Living (CILCP) new offices at 2601 Herr Street, Harrisburg! A day to celebrate the disability experience, the 35th Anniversary of the ADA, and community. There will be vendors, accessible games, food, DJ, raffles, and more.

Come out and join us for Disability Pride Williamsport to celebrate pride, community, and the 35th anniversary of the Americans with Disabilities Act. A day of fun, music, games, giveaways, and food!
O4E: Bug Fest
Join us at the Academy of Natural Sciences for a wild weekend celebrating more than a few of our favorite (invertebrate) things. Enjoy scientist-guided Bug Walks on the Parkway and our famous Roach Races or discover your love for something surprising like the unexpected insect biodiversity of your local park. Explore specimens from the Academy’s world-class Entomology Collection, including recently discovered beetles, bees and butterflies. “Ask the Experts” at scientist meet-and-greets for all ages. Talk with Academy researchers and fellow bug enthusiasts to find out how their passion for all things invertebrate impacts and shapes our communities. And check out the new marketplace that will highlight local artists and artisans.
For guests who may need a quiet moment during Bug Fest, Darwin Room on the Lobby Level is equipped with sensory-friendly considerations including lower lighting for a calming pause. Please ask staff to direct you to the space.

PATRICE: THE MOVIE Join us at Tyler School of Art & Architecture for a movie and live moderated panel with the actors, Patrice Jetter and Garry Wickham, and the Director Ted Passon. We have partnered with Liberty Resources and the Institute on Disabilities for this amazing evening. Doors open at 5pm with the movie starting at 6pm followed by panel discussion moderated by Izzy Kaufman. There will be light refreshments.

In this dye workshop, we will explore the vibrant and ever-changing nature of indigo dyeing.
Participants will have the opportunity to dip a cotton bandana into a plant-based indigo dye vat, experiencing a visual feast as the dye oxidizes before their eyes. Fibers can be dipped several times to increase the depth of shade!
Indigo is an ancient textile dyeing technique, with a history of cultivation and dyeing from all over the world. Experience this all-natural dye technique in person with the founder of Green Matters Natural Dye Company, Winona Quigley.
